HS Pinnacle Reminders
Jun 9th, 2010 by g_bush

I have been asked two questions this week as we approach the end of the year.

1.  How do I submit my grades?

Answer:  All that you need to do to submit your grades is make sure they are all entered by the deadline.  There is no special procedure to complete after that.

2.  How do I run the end of the year report to turn in to the office?

Answer: Once you are logged into pinnacle, follow these steps.  From the home screen (screen you see when you first log in) click on New Report.  In the Grading section, click on Year End Summary - Quarter.  Choose the class you want to print it for (need to do all classes you submit grades for). Choose Active in the students selection. Choose Yes to include Exam Grades  and Semester Grades.   Click the run report button.  This will take you to the My Reports section. In the status column (far right), wait till it says ready.  Then click on the report to download and open it.  Once it is open print the report.

If you have any further questions see your department head or myself.

Student Print Quota
Nov 17th, 2009 by g_bush

As discussed at the opening in-service students do have a print quota this
year. Students are limited to $2.50 worth of printing per semester.  This
total was set based on historical data.  The price per page varies on the
printer they print to.  It costs $.05 per page to print to black and white printers and $.20 to $.30 per page to print to the color printers.  Please limit the amount of printing your students are required to do. Use alternate methods such as collecting assignments electronically using group shares to help students not run out of print credits.

When students login an application loads to tell them how much they have
left on their account.  If students run out of print credits please advise
them to visit Mrs. Wallace in the book store to purchase additional
credits.  The students can purchase a card for $5 that they can redeem online for additional credits. Instructions for redeeming the card are located on the card.

If students have reached their limit, and you believe it needs to be adjusted to accommodate necessary school related printing, please contact the Technology Office. The user’s print record will be reviewed.  This will be done on a case by case basis.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
